Buckshot Productions’ Brotherhood is a film that stands out not just for its great casting and hot action but also for the tragedy that surrounded its release. Sadly days after the release of this production, lead performer Danny Roddick died of a drug overdose- a tragic accident that will be forever linked with this film but should in no way be a reason for you to miss out on what is one of his best works.

If you watch this thinking it’s going to be just like any other fratboy film you are sadly mistaken. The concept for Brotherhood is actually quite clever. The film opens with a mysterious message to Danny Roddick’s character Chandler. His secret life as a porn star has been discovered and he has 24 hours to resign from the fraternity or else! Who is behind the mysterious message? How did they find out about his work as a porn star? Those are the questions that tie this film together.

The mystery concept in Brotherhood lends itself perfectly to featuring a myriad of guys. Fortunately for us some great casting was put into action. Not only do you have established performers like Danny Roddick, Trey Casteel, Jorden Michaels, Sebastian Rivers, and Dean Phoenix but you also have some really hot newcomers like Tory Mason, Dallas Reeves, and Kurt Wilde among others. With a cast full of talented performers you’re bound to have some really hot sex scenes and in the case of Brotherhood, cleverly scripted scenarios.

My favorite of the seven scenes in this film is the one with Trey Casteel. Poor Trey has just been dumped by his fiancée because she found out he doesn’t shave his pubes (travesty!). Confused he asks Danny Roddick for help and he of course offers to shave them for him. In a great introduction to the world of shaving as a fetish, Danny proceeds to lather up not just his pubes but also his chest. He then delivers one of the best lines in the movie, “It will be easier to shave if you’re hard.” It’s cheesy, camp and also totally hot! Danny proceeds to not only have his way with the straight frat brother but also gets to shave his deliciously round ass.

Another can’t miss scene is the very passionate threesome featuring Jorden Michaels and newcomers Kurt Wild and Justin Burkshire. It starts off very voyeuristic with Jorden Michaels jerking off as he watches Justin top Kurt. After several minutes of passionate fucking Jorden takes Kurts place and before long it’s a meat sandwich with Jorden on both the giving and receiving ends. Jorden may have been the most experienced performer in that scene but it’s Kurt and Justin’s passionate performance that really stood out. I think they both have a very promising future in films.

In the end not only do we discover who is behind the mysterious note and how he found out (he owned a copy of Buckshot Productions’ Boot Black Blues) but we also discover a few secrets of his own. It’s enough to silence him and make him join in an all cast orgy that is sure to satisfy. But if you think that’s the end don’t. Just before the credits roll we get a voice over from Danny Roddick who tells us what became of each brother, when he caught up with them at their five-year reunion. It’s bittersweet to hear how the life of his character Chandler turned out when you take into consideration his own tragic ending.
